As an Au Pair in the Netherlands, you'll spend 12 months living with a welcoming Dutch family, caring for children while experiencing life in one of Europe's most charming countries. Cycle through historic streets, snack on stroopwafels and bitterballen, and picnic along the canals. It's a practical and immersive way to work abroad, experience a new culture, and live somewhere completely different for a year. All while making some new friends along the way.
If you're Afrikaans-speaking, this is an especially good opportunity for you – due to the similarity in language, Dutch families would love to host you.
Are you the right fit?

Are you keen to do the work?
- ✤ ± 25 hours of work per week
- ✤ Transport the children to and from school and arrange play dates
- ✤ Prepare meals
- ✤ Assist with homework
- ✤ Assist with general child-related chores like laundry and tidying the children's bedrooms and play areas
