Graduates FAQs
About the Graduate Program
Hopscotch Graduate Recruitment connects recent graduates and young professionals with companies looking for entry-level talent. We partner with employers across various industries to place graduates in roles where they can gain practical work experience and grow their careers. We’ll get you a job!
Our graduate opportunities are open to recent graduates, final-year students, and young professionals who are looking to start their careers. Does that sound like you? Most roles require a diploma or degree, but some positions may also consider candidates with relevant experience. Look at our available positions to see if you qualify.
The employers we’re working with might look for positions in:
- Business and administration
- Marketing and sales
- Finance and accounting
- Human resources
- Hospitality and tourism
- Operations and customer service
Of course, this will depend on what the employers are looking for at a specific time.
Why Hopscotch vs other agencies?
Hopscotch is different from traditional graduate recruitment agencies because we offer both graduate job opportunities and international work and travel programs. Graduates can gain international work experience abroad, then return home and access graduate jobs and entry-level career opportunities in South Africa through our recruitment network. No other recruitment agency offers work and travel opportunities for graduates, and no gap year travel company offers graduate recruitment and job placement. We’re one-of-a-kind, and it’s our job to find jobs for one-of-a-kind people like you.
This means Hopscotch can help you travel, gain global work experience, and secure your first graduate job all in one place.
Hopscotch is a graduate recruitment partner that connects South African graduates with entry-level jobs and career opportunities.
We don’t offer university courses; instead, we help graduates secure real jobs with employers, providing support, guidance, and career advice throughout the recruitment process.
Now that’s the question! With Hopscotch, you don’t have to choose – you can do both.
Hopscotch offers international work and travel experiences that allow graduates to gain global work experience abroad before starting their first professional job. It’s the best of both worlds. After completing a program, we can also help connect you with graduate job opportunities in South Africa.
Having international work experience on your CV helps you stand out to employers by demonstrating independence, adaptability, and real-world skills. And because Hopscotch offers both work abroad programs and graduate recruitment, we can help you travel, gain experience, and launch your career all through one platform.

The timeline varies depending on the employer, but the process typically takes 2–6 weeks from application to placement. We’ll speed it up if possible.
