What can you expect?
Camp counsellors are placed at one of 700 scenic camps across the USA – all approved by the American Camp Association.
Through Hopscotch, you can:
- ✅ Search all camps by name, state, or type and reach out for interviews.
- ✅ Have camps view your application and contact you for interviews.
- ✅ Attend Virtual Camp Job Fairs and potentially get hired on the spot.
To help match you with the right camp, indicate your preferred camp type on your application. Here's a brief overview of the types of camps looking for staff:
- ✤ Private Camps: Privately owned and run by individuals or families.
- ✤ Non-Profit Camps: Owned and run by non-profit organizations.
- ✤ Specialty Camps: Dedicated to one specific activity or specialty.
- ✤ Special Needs Camps: Dedicated to children and adults with disabilities.
- ✤ Religious Camps: With a religious emphasis, primarily Christian and Jewish camps.
- ✤ Single-Gender Camps: One gender, boys or girls.
